Pepsi, Blinky, No-chest, Bullet bill

A while ago I put up a few gum wrapper drawings I've done on Orbit wrappers. As I go through and get some more scanned in over the next couple weeks, I'll be adding drawings I've done over the past year and a half, starting with some older ones.

I used orbit gum wrappers because; A) Orbit wrappers are actually pretty nice paper, with only one of the two sides being waxed - this lets the ink set in well, with little bleeding, and looks nicer than other wrappers, and B) I only had Orbit gum with me when I forgot my anatomy notebook and was bored in class.

These are all from Fall, 2008. Click the image for a comically large version of the image.

Drawn at Applebee's trivia night with
alpha chi sigma.
Two separate drawings of Blinky,
normal and after the power dot was eaten.
This is actually my favorite drawing so far-
Captain No-Chest. Dunno why I like it.
This was the 2nd or 3rd drawing I did
on gum wrappers.

Some more glass

Here are a few of the paperweights I made in glassblowing this past fall. The small red and green paperweights were each two gathers (one gather of molten glass, rolled in color, then a clear gather on top), the others are three gathers.

Teal, yellow on top, swirled and then
rolled on a spiky-metal-grid.
Red in an optical mold
Red, then yellow, then spiky-grid
Green gather, then optical mold
Green, then teal, then spiky-grid
Teal, then yello, then spiky-grid (no swirl)
Bubbly-gather (accidental, but awesome),
then green, then swirl.
